What is RDL vaping?
RDL vaping is a style of vaping where you will pool the vapour in your mouth before then inhaling it directly into your lungs.

RDL Vape Meaning
Thought of as a middle-ground type of vaping, RDL comes with a number of benefits, such as:
- Cross between DTL and MTL

- It offers a satisfying experience as you can opt for a high nicotine content with the production of dense smoke.
- More vapour and flavour than MTL
- Less power and e liquid than DTL

- RDL e liquids have a low nicotine strength compared to MTL liquids.

RDL Vape
As we’ve previously mentioned MTL and DTL, it is worth exploring these vaping styles compared to RDL so you have a complete picture of where RDL sits.
MTL, DTL, and RDL all refer to inhalation methods, and there is no right or wrong way to vape; it is all down to personal preference and what feels most natural and comfortable to you.
MTL – has a tighter airflow and a higher nicotine content than DTL and is the vaping style that most closely replicates smoking, where you can use the device and e liquids it contains to take a long, smooth, and steady draw on the vape. This type of inhalation style gives you maximum flavour delivery. The vapour inhaled from the vape device lingers in the mouth before slowly working its way down your throat and into your lungs, where it sits until you exhale. The MTL style of vaping produces less vapour than DTL.
DTL – uses higher powered devices to produce more dense clouds and tends to suit more experienced vapers as the slow and steady draw of vapour goes directly to your lungs, bypassing the mouth and going straight to exhale. DTL vaping produces great clouds and comes in more advanced kits that use more nicotine e liquids.
RDL – more of a hybrid style, as it mixes the best parts of MTL and DTL together, acting almost as a mid-point between the two. With RDL devices, you can enjoy flavourful vapour from higher PG e liquids like nicotine salts, and as most of the airflow is restricted, you can create larger puff clouds.
With RDL vapes, we recommend you opt for a coil with a resistance between 0.5 and 0.8.
In addition, the ability to choose the airflow and change this slightly until you achieve the right level of restriction on your draw can be the key to a more enjoyable experience.
